Scoping the Future, the RABDF’s first annual dairy business and policy conference, is to take place on Wednesday 18 October 2017 in London
The event, held in conjunction with the Trehane Trust at One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, SW1H 9JJ, will examine the UK dairy industry after Brexit. Speakers will discuss the potential effects of Brexit on the UK dairy industry from several perspectives, and examine opportunities to reshape the sector.
Speakers at the event include Simon Ward, founder of the Policy Group, discussing trade, subsidies, market access and labour; Mike Houghton of Andersons presenting his Trehane Fellowship findings on future opportunities and options; Graham Wilkinson from Arla discussing processor perspectives; and Mike King, chairman of the RABDF, talking about migrant labour in the dairy farming sector. Lord Curry, RABDF president, will open and close the event.
