Molasses and liquid products company ED&F Man has appointed Richard Dobson as commercial manager to cover Scotland, Cumbria and Northumberland. He will be based at the company’s Grangemouth Terminal.
Mr Dobson succeeds Jim Howie, who is retiring after over 15 years with ED&F Man. He was previously with Micronised Feed Products, but has also worked for Trident Feeds and First Milk.
In his new role, Mr Dobson will handle all aspects of ED&F Man’s liquid product business. This will include supporting sales to feed compounders and blenders, as well as supporting farm sales through the company’s merchant network. He will report to Dr Phil Holder, managing director of ED&F Man Liquid Products.
Dr Holder comments: “Richard brings a wealth of experience to our business and has extensive knowledge of the Scottish and north of England feed and farm business. We have grown our business by offering first class service and high quality, innovative products along with effective technical support and we expect this growth to continue under Richard’s management.”
