International producer and distributor of natural feed additives Anpario has made two new senior appointments.
Helen Houghton joins the Nottinghamshire-based company as corporate development director. She was previously with Merial Animal Health, now part of Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, where she was head of avian for all European markets and Russia.
In her new post, Ms Houghton will report to Andrew Jackson, group commercial director. She will assist in developing new sales channels and specific sales-related projects globally. In addition, she will also have line manager responsibility for marketing and the global pricing strategy team from Anpario’s Cranfield office near Milton Keynes.
“I am delighted that Helen is joining the Anpario team and excited for the development of Anpario over the next few years,” says Mr Jackson. “Helen has a remarkable wealth of experience and she will bring instrumental support to me and guidance to the rest of the Anpario team, which will help strengthen and develop Anpario as a global brand.”
The company has also recruited Heidi Hall as its new global technical manager – swine. Ms Hall joins the company from AB Agri, where she worked in the alternative proteins division, responsible for the execution and delivery of the global research budget with particular accountability for swine. She has also worked in the ruminant and pig nutrition fields.
In her new post, Ms Hall will report to Dr Wendy Wakeman, group technical director. Welcoming Ms Hall to Anpario, Dr Wakeman commented: “Heidi will be a valued member of the Global Technical team and brings with her analytical and commercial focus to help us develop and grow our global business.”
