A Harper Adams BSc Agriculture student has won the ForFarmers Ruminant Scholarship for the next academic year. Sarah Lynch, who is based in Leicestershire, will receive a significant financial contribution to her student tuition fees and employment at ForFarmers during her placement year.

The year-long placement will give Ms Lynch experience of all aspects of the UK ruminant business, working alongside ForFarmers’ account managers across the country. At the end of her degree in summer 2020, Ms Lynch will be able to return to ForFarmers as a full trainee.

“My year working for ForFarmers will give me a great opportunity to work with specialists, experts and farmers to see how tailored feed solutions can deliver real benefits, better returns, healthier livestock and greater efficiencies,” says Ms Lynch.
