Trouw Nutrition GB, part of the Nutreco animal feed and services business, has appointed three experienced individuals to strengthen its sales, marketing and technical capabilities.

Rosie Booth joins in the newly created role of technical sales and marketing director, responsible for managing the commercial and technical customer-facing aspects of the business across all species areas.

A qualified vet, Ms Booth worked in a mixed practice after graduating, followed by 13 years in the animal health industry, most recently with MSD Animal Health where she initially led the poultry, and then the ruminant commercial teams. “I am looking forward to meeting customers to better understand their needs and then ensuring our strategy and activities are closely aligned to help meet them,” she says.

Sarah Wickham becomes sales support manager. She spent 12 years working for Rumenco in a variety of roles, latterly as central territory as area business manager. In 2016 she moved to a point-of-care diagnostics company as a territory manager, selling directly to veterinary clinics.

“It is exciting to be back in the agricultural industry and I am sure I will be able to use the new skills developed in my time outside the industry in my new role,” comments Ms Wickham.

Richard Remmer has joined Trouw as pig technical manager. Originally from a pig farming background, he has over 30 years experience in the premix and feed additive sectors in a formulator, nutritionist and management roles. He worked for Optivite and Kiotech, now part of Anpario, before moving to DSM Nutritional Products in 2014 as business development manager.
