Henry Bell & Co, the Grantham-based specialist feed and feed ingredients manufacturer, is to invest in additional warehousing to support its future growth.

Henry Bell has recently commissioned additional warehousing capacity at its Grantham site. The new, state-of-the-art facility has space for more than 1,000 pallets. It also incorporates an internal loading ramp for loading containers for export orders, to meet expansion in this area of the company’s business.

The building is fully insulated, features lux LED motor-sensitive lighting and has high-speed shutter doors to reduce its environmental impact.

“Responding to growing demand from our export markets is a natural next step and our expansion plans will support swift and significant growth in this area,” comments Henry Bell trading director Simon Parker.

The company is a major producer and supplier of micronized feed ingredients – particularly flaked cereals and pulses, as well as blended complete feeds for the poultry, wild bird, pet and small animal and equine markets. The portfolio includes the EquiGlo horse feeds, Mr Johnson’s small animal and Dog Gone Fishin’ canine treats brands. It also supplies adjuncts to the brewing industry and is a long-established manufacturer for own-label feed brands.
