Yara UK has appointed Rebecca Pearce as its area manager for the Yorkshire, Cleveland and County Durham region.
She will work with farmers around the north of England, helping them to maximise crop potential, supported by Yara’s extensive range of plant nutrition products and services.
Ms Pearce, with almost ten years of experience in agriculture, joins from the Openfield Group where she spent the last five years in a farm business manager role.
“Rebecca is a fantastic addition to the team,” says Darren Glegg, business manager, liquid and foliar products at Yara UK. “She brings with her a wealth of experience and keen insight into the opportunities and challenges facing British farmers currently.”
Ms Pearce adds: “I love this area and I’m excited to work with farmers across Yorkshire, Cleveland, and Country Durham, promoting better crop nutrition and increased yields for local farmers.
“I’m keen to work more with understanding and boosting potato crops. At Yara, we pride ourselves on our potato nutrition, and it’s a specific area of crop nutrition that I’m keen to develop and promote with farmers in my region.”
