Feed ingredients trader Greg Dunn has bought his UK agency from its German parent and will now trade under a new name.

Mr Dunn founded Agrosom Ltd, based near Colchester, in 2009 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the German company Agrosom GmbH. But he has now bought out the company alongside his wife and business partner Juliet Dunn. The will relaunches as AgriFeed UK on July 1st 2020.

AgriFeed UK will continue to supply feed ingredients to the UK animal feed industry, specialising in the concentrated protein and energy ingredients used in young animal diets of all livestock species. The current product portfolio includes lecithins, dextrose, zinc oxide, potato and pea protein concentrates, full fat dehulled soya meal and extruded linseed products.

One of the company’s most popular lines is the PIDOLin PCa trade-marked calcium pidolate feed additive Mr Dunn brought to the UK market in 2009 – recognised for its results in poultry rearing and eggshell quality alongside benefits to pig and ruminant nutrition.

Mr Dunn will also continue to run his BDC agri UK agency for the calf milk replacer range produced by Lacto Production in Rennes, France.
