Organisers of the annual British Crop Production Council (BCPC) Congress are planning to run the event later this year but have moved the location.
The Congress, organised by BCPC in association with TSG Forum, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th November 2020 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. It marks a change from the traditional Brighton venue, although the Congress was held in Glasgow for a spell some years ago.
The 2020 Congress theme is: “The environment for UK crop production outside the EU – understanding the opportunities”.
“We are cautiously optimistic that the BCPC Congress will take place as a live event in November,” says the BCPC. “Over the past few months, we have been working to provide a programme focussed on key issues impacting the crop protection sector, structured to provide a socially distanced networking opportunity.
“We are also excited to announce that we are taking this year’s Congress to Harrogate, North Yorkshire – home of the UK Health and Safety Executive.”
