UK feed additive manufacturer UFAC-UK has appointed James Hastings-Molyneux as an area business manager. The company says Mr Hastings-Molyneux’s appointment is the latest stage of a client-focused restructuring.
Mr Hastings-Molyneux is currently ruminant sales manager for Devenish Nutrition, but his 17 years in the feed sector has included spells with KW, Countrywide Farmers, Trouw Nutrition GB and Cargill.
In his new post, he will cover an area that includes the Midlands, the South East and the whole of Ireland. Although he took up his new role at the start of the lockdown period, UFAC-UK says he has already hit the ground running from his Berkshire base and is building and developing new and existing business relationships.
“I have been brought in predominantly to further develop business to business relationship management, ultimately bringing better connection with our end users through greater engagement across the entire chain,” explains Mr Hastings-Molyneux. “We are in a people-based business, and I aim to embrace that proactive approach across the ruminant, monogastric, equine and game feed sectors.”
UFAC-UK managing director Robert Jones adds: “We are delighted to welcome James on to the team at this exciting time for UFAC-UK as we redefine the client and supplier relationship, and develop our partnership ethos with distributors, livestock farmers and their nutritionists.”
