AIC has launched a consultation on the draft Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops (TASCC) 2021 Standard, which is due to be introduced on 1st February 2021.
The TASCC Review Group and Working Group has reviewed the current TASCC 2018 standard. The Group’s aim was to clarify and simplify the TASCC principles of food and feed safety, whilst re-emphasising them. Key changes proposed by the Working Group include: an increased focus on food and feed; splitting clauses into manageable requirements so that compliance and auditing are easier; clearly defined section aims and additional guidance throughout the Codes of Practice. The new standard will be accompanied by updated appendices and templates available on the AIC website.
Documents are available on the AIC website. Responses should be emailed to Gillian Barrow, email@example.com, by 5pm September 9th 2020.
