The annual Society of Feed Technologists (SFT) ruminant and pig conferences will both be held online this year – and will happen on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
The SFT Ruminant Virtual and Live Q&A Conference will take place at 3.30pm on Wednesday 11th November 2020, and the SFT Pig Virtual and Live Q&A Conference will happen at 3.30pm on Thursday 12th November 2020.
Among the seven speakers at the ruminant event are: Dr Andrew Pine from Premier Nutrition discussing TMS – The Impact of Transition on Performance; Professor Michael Lee from Harper Adams University speaking on The Role of Ruminants in a Sustainable Food System and Dr Sean Rickard on The Survival of UK Livestock Farms. Professor Liam Sinclair of Harper Adams University is to chair the event.
There are six speakers at the pig event, including Dr Amy Taylor of the University of Leeds discussing Precision Nutrition: Feeding the Pig Population Efficiently, David Saornil of Lallemand talking about Maternal Microbial Imprinting and Dr Teun Veldkamp of Wageningen University speaking on Insect Protein. Dr Charlotte Evans of ForFarmers is to chair the conference.
Video presentations from the Ruminant speakers will be available to registered delegates from November 4th and Pig speakers from November 5th.
