Life Scientific, Dublin. Winners of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award. November 2020
Life Scientific founder and CEO Nicola Mitchell has been named the 2020 EY Entrepreneur of the Year.
She won the top award at this year’s ceremony for leading the agrochemicals company, which develops off-patent crop protection products. The company is headquartered in Dublin and employs more than 70 people.

“We are facing a world where the growing population needs feeding alongside a decrease in the availability of good arable land,” says Ms Mitchell. “We simply need to be producing more efficiently from what we have – which is exactly what Life Scientific is doing.

“It is surreal to have won this award. I couldn’t do any of it without the fantastic team at Life Scientific and I cannot wait to share this with them.”
