Zinpro Corporation, the international supplier of feed trace minerals, is marking its 50th year in business with a new logo and website.
The company was established in the US state of Minnesota by Dean Anderson as a small organic trace mineral company. Since then, it has grown into a global operation providing mineral nutrition products for ruminants, poultry, pigs, horses, aquaculture, companion animals and now human health through its Mend and Defend brand. Still under family ownership, Zinpro now has 11 regional offices worldwide and is active in more than 70 country markets.
Zinpro says its unique amino acid transporter technology is a key differentiator in the minerals market, helping producers with health issues such as lameness prevention and inflammation management while improving the lifetime performance and productivity of their livestock.
“For the past 50 years, customers have relied on Zinpro to continually develop trace mineral products to help improve animal health and performance,” comments Zinpro president and chief executive Rob Sheffer. “With a new brand identity that reflects our comprehensive, solutions-based approach, Zinpro is determined to remain the industry leader for the next 50 years. We are a performance company working side-by-side with our customers and partners to achieve better outcomes for animals and people.”
