Crop technologies head for Agrii

Agronomy services provider Agrii has appointed Dr Ruth Mann as its head of integrated crop technologies. Dr Mann’s appointment follows Clare Bend’s promotion to the post of head of product innovation and sustainability at parent company Origin Enterprises.

Dr Mann joins Agrii from amenity organisation the STRI Group, where she was an MBA qualified group director. Her career also includes a spell at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for Northern Ireland, where she developed interests in forage grass testing. She has extensive knowledge of UK plant protection regulations, sits on the government’s independent expert committee on pesticides (ECP) and has initiated and taught BASIS Amenity Horticulture and many other CPD modules.
