Noble Foods’ Milling Division has launched a new straight feed materials business, Noble Foods Straights, which aims to supply feed materials to those UK pig and poultry farmers who home-mix their feed.

Headquartered in Harrogate, the operation will leverage Noble Foods’ buying power to offer high-quality feed materials at competitive prices. The offer will also include “exceptional customer service, the ability to fulfil emergency orders and a technical milling support facility,” it says.

The UFAS-accredited business will offer the following straights: any-origin soyameal; soya oil; hi-pro sunflower; wheatfeed; rapeseed meal and biscuit meal. Orders will be processed at Noble’s network of five feeds mills across the UK, allowing nationwide availability.

“For home mixers, raw material buying decisions can be the difference between a profitable business and a business that makes a loss,” advises Noble Foods’ managing director milling and agriculture Tim Goldsbrough. “Home mixing is a growing market, and we think now is the perfect time for us to expand our services. Noble Foods is very well established, and our size means we can offer exceptional expertise and customer support – not to mention extremely competitive prices.

“The company has an excellent audit record for industry and retailer assurance schemes, including numerous Gold M&S performance scores, which means its raw material quality control is industry leading,” he concludes.
