Sam Bell has started a new position as managing director (designate) at liquid fertiliser specialist Omex Agriculture, with effect from this month. The company says the appointment follows increased demand from UK growers for liquid fertiliser products.
After starting her career elsewhere in the chemical industry, Ms Bell joined Cheshire-based fertiliser manufacturer GrowHow UK as commercial marketing manager in June 2014. She became head of sales and marketing for the rebranded CF Fertilisers two years later, and commercial director in Feb 2019.
Following the CF restructure and closure of its Ince site, Ms Bell has worked as an independent consultant since August this year.
“I am delighted to announce that Sam is joining the Omex team,” says Omex executive chairman Max Winkler. “We all look forward to working with her to progress and develop the business to the benefit of our new and existing customers.”
