Harbro partners with Convent Capital for growth

Feed manufacturer and rural retailer Harbro has agreed a partnership with investment company Convent Capital with the aim of growing its presence in the UK agricultural supply market.

Convent Capital, an independent Dutch investment company established in 2011, has a new fund that provides growth capital for innovative and sustainable companies in the agri-food market.
Harbro, headquartered in Turriff, makes compound feeds for all species, ruminant feed buckets and operates a fleet of mill and mix vehicles for customers across Scotland and northern England.

It says working with Convent Capital will allow it to seize significant growth opportunities in the evolving livestock feed sector, drive innovation and lead industry advancement. The partnership underscores the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable products and services for livestock nutrition, while maintaining its core values of customer focus, innovation and long-term stability. Harbro will continue to be managed by its existing executive and management teams under the partnership.
