Tom Yewbrey has been appointed managing director of plant breeder NPZ UK from 1st July. He succeeds Chris Guest who is returning to ADM Agriculture after five years at the Cambridgeshire business.
Mr Yewbrey joins from Senova, a Harley Group company, which he joined as sales manager in 2021, before moving to the managing director role in August 2023. He graduated from Reading University in 2007 and worked in field trials at Cambridge University Farm and then corporate farmer Velcourt before Senova.
“I am really excited to be joining NPZ UK at this time when it is well-positioned with a very strong and successful portfolio – and has a great pipeline looking into the future,” comments Mr Yewbrey.
Mr Guest adds: “Tom is well known and respected within the industry and therefore is an excellent fit for NPZ UK to continue building the company and taking it forward towards key targets and market share aspirations across our portfolio of species.”
