Countrywide Farmers administrator KPMG Restructuring has confirmed that the rural retailing business has now ceased to trade, and that its focus is now on selling the freehold store sites.
The Countrywide Farmers retail chain will all but cease trading by the end of May, following a 15 week administration process. The chain now comprises just 15 trading stores, from the 48 when the business went into administration in early March, but will be down to four branches by next week.
